Volunteer
Yes, we need volunteers at both the Paso Robles History Museum & the Paso Robles Area Historical Society. No experience is necessary, just a friendly smile and a willingness to help out. We have monthly docent training classes where you will learn about our exhibits and in depth history behind them. New volunteers will also be teamed up with a mentor to assist and train them in their chosen duties.
Some of the areas in which we need assistance include:

Being a docent to greet visitors and show them the museum

Sorting and categorizing materials of local historical interest

Assisting with research requests

Computer input

Creating exhibits
The Paso Robles History Museum in the Carnegie Library is open Thursday through Monday from 11am to 3pm. Docent schedules can vary according to the needs of the volunteer. We value any time our volunteers are able to give and will work with each volunteer to create a schedule that is convenient for them.
